Warning: Make sure that the contract address is correct on ForkDelta. Sometimes using that URL automatically redirects to the main page that currently shows DAI-ETH, not 0x3fb4d5424922686f319895a6af14692e34c22fb8-ETH. If that happens then search for 0x3fb4d5424922686f319895a6af14692e34c22fb8 with name REMO and with the default decimals value of 18, and that's the one you want to use. It should say REMO or Remocoin for the name.

Remocon is a remote operations platform for robots and machinery. Any robot can easily connect and stream video and audio and telemetry data, as well as receive live commands for control. Any person can get permission to control any robot from a web browser. Robot and person interaction can be one to one, one to many, and many to one. We encourage you to upload your own robot and have it controllable by the public for free or for money. We also encourage you to evangelize it for business and industry so that they can save costs with our platform.

There are three types of people in the Remocon economy.

- Remote Workers

- Industrial Owners

- Robot Retrofitters

Remote workers are workers who operate machinery and robots remotely. They add value because they can work without the rituals associated with daily life. They achieve the same or better work than a physically present worker but for less cost. They don't need to physically travel to a location to work on it, they don't need to worry about getting injured, they can point and click to get work done as fast as a person can play a video game. They work virtually and they get paid virtually. They are also cheaper because they can work across town or from around the world, from areas that are in more need of work. Remote workers are remote machinery operators.
Industrial owners are the people who own businesses that would benefit from robotics. These are people who own factories, stores, or even people who want personal robotic assistants. These are people who currently pay others to do work for them, but who would financially gain from hiring remote workers to operate robots instead.

Industrial owners pay robot retrofitters to convert their existing tasks to be solved robotically. Once that conversion is done, the industrial owners pay remote workers to do that work rather than physically present workers, and the cost savings are so high that they make back their investment many times over.
Robot retrofitters are the people who retrofit existing technologies and business operations to be solvable through remotely controlled machinery. We use the term retrofitter because the easiest changes to visualize are converting processes that already exist to be made more efficient with this new technology. Street sweeper trucks that are currently driven down city sidewalks with physically present drivers can be retrofitted to be operated remotely, this is cheap and not that hard to do. Forklifts and excavators can be retrofitted to be operated remotely. Cars can be connected to the internet to do the same. This way people can have street sweepers, forklift and excavator operators, personal drivers, all without needing a person to physically show up at the location. Robot retrofitters could also be companies that build their own robots and deploy them for others to operate, such as a package delivery robot. We still use the term "retrofitter" because it is taking an existing task, and solving it with our new technology.

Robot retrofitters can charge as they please for their work, their work is usually a one time fee plus maintenance, and since their work is generalizable, any high fee they charge is usually very much worth the cost for the industrial owners who pay them. Once a robot retrofitter comes up with a formula or a kit, for example to convert a certain model of forklift into one that's remotely operable, they can sell that kit infinitely.
Now it should be clear what our value proposition is and how our tokenomics work. We make this easy for all three of the above type of person to fit their respective role. Whether robot retrofitters and remote workers choose to be paid in fiat currency or choose to use our token, the value proposition for industry and day-to-day life is strong. Anyone can make robots, anyone can buy robots, our networking is secure to make anyone able to work those robots.

The Remocoin token is a utility token. Anyone who uses the Remocon platform financially can choose to use the ERC-20 token, this makes financial exchange easier for them. They are also welcome to use any type of fiat or any other type of cryptocurrency. Our token is a tool to help facilitate the exchange, rather than being necessary or required.
Remocon is the platform, it stands for Remote Control. Remote + control = Remocon.

Remocoin is the cryptocurrency, it stands for Remocon coin. Remocon + coin = Remocoin.

ForkDelta is a fork of the formerly popular EtherDelta trading platform. It's order-book based rather than an automated market maker like UniSwap and Loopring, but it works well.
